Android Developer at Bump Technologies in Mountain View, CA

Android is the fastest growing mobile OS, activating hundreds of thousands of devices each day. Bump already has millions of Android users, but we think that is just the beginning. As an Android developer at Bump, you'll work on a small core team of 3-4 people designing and building every aspect of our Android app.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the next generation of Bump's Android app and API
• Create new, exciting features and push your code to millions of existing Android Bump users
• Immerse yourself in all things Android

Requirements

• Experience developing native Android apps or other mobile apps is strongly preferred
• Java; an interest in learning Scala (or experience)
• An eye for great design and user experience
• A desire to create one of the best apps in the Android Market
• Ability to communicate within a close-knit team

Exceptional candidates will have

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent
• One or more Android apps already developed; demo APKs to share with us
• Experience with Java in non-Enterprise applications
• Startup experience
